Rod Monroe is licensed in civil and structural engineering. For over twenty-five years, Rod has been designing structures for the commercial, industrial, mining and bridge construction industries. His experience includes material handling equipment and process design, procurement of permits, project management and feasibility cost estimates.

Donald A. Hamann

Senior Vice President - Donald A. Hamann, P.E.

Don Hamann is a licensed civil and structural engineer with over thirty years of experience in the structural design of commercial buildings, industrial facilities, temporary structures and support structures. Don is a specialist in construction engineering services and directs the design of falsework, cofferdams, shoring, trestles and other specialized structures.

Stephen M. Rinella

Steve Rinella is a licensed civil and structural engineer with over thirty years of experience on a range of institutional, commercial and industrial projects. Steve has extensive experience in overall engineering project management, preliminary conceptual design, cost estimating detail structural design for buildings and related structures, permitting and construction assistance.

Dave Ganz

Vice President - Dave Ganz, P.E.

Dave is a licensed professional engineer in the area of mechanical engineering with over 19 years of experience in materials handling equipment. His experience includes project management, conceptual design and cost estimating for fuel feed systems, and bulk-materials receiving, storage and reclaiming installations. Dave brings a practical understanding of the client perspective through his on-site mill experience.

Travis Grutsch

Vice President - Travis Grutsch, P.E.

Travis is a licensed civil and structural engineer with a master’s degree in civil engineering. Since joining Smith Monroe Gray Engineers in 2002, he has been responsible for structural design of temporary and support structures for the construction industry. Travis’ projects encompass a variety of construction engineering services, including the design of falsework, cofferdams, shoring, trestles, and other specialized structures.
